Welcome to Clacton & District Indoor Bowls Club
Clacton & District Indoor Bowling Club is situated on Valley Road opposite The Range. The club was founded in 1936 and is one of the oldest clubs in the country. The club has recently undergone a refurbishment with a new bowls floor, providing 6 1st class rinks to the bowls hall, and a refurbished bar area which provide excellent facilities for playing and socialising.
Over the years the club has invested in solar panels to the roof which reduces our power take up from the grid, and provides a steady income, and installed LED lighting to the bowls hall both reducing our carbon footprint.
Disabled access to the club is available by ramp to the bowls hall, and the club has a specialist wheelchair for use of disabled members, with a flat access point onto the rink. Junior bowls sessions are held every Saturday morning supervised by our coaching team, who are also available for tutorial session with members.
